The Land of Enchantment

I’ve been wanting to get these pictures up for the last couple weeks, but writing conventions, vacation, and reunions have gotten in the way. But here they are . . . finally. I took these on a motorcycle ride with Jimmy. We usually head up into the Manzano and Sandia Mountains (only miles from my home) on summer evenings to cool off. On this particular day, we got caught in the rain. And getting caught in the rain while traveling 50mph is like having sharp needles thrown at you. It hurts . . . like bad. But the beautiful vistas that came after the storm made the pain well worth it.

My favorite thing about scenic pictures is seeing the different colours in the sky and cloud formations! Beautiful shots!!
